Established in 1991 ODELLS BISTRO is a charming intimate style Bistro situated between the seaside towns of Dun Laoghaire and Dalkey in the quaint village of Sandycove, just a stone's throw from Joyce's tower and a ten minute walk from the Dart station.

 

Under the proprietorship of Chef John Waddell, a graduate of the Dublin College of Catering, ODELLS BISTRO has established a reputation for tasty, exciting and well prepared food. Combined with a relaxing ambience, friendly and attentive service ODELLS BISTRO has all the ingredients for a great night out.

Starters

 

Baked stuffed mushrooms with mozzarella, cream cheese, Basil, toasted Pine nuts. Sundried tomato pesto.

 

Turmeric spiced chicken with Mango, Lime, & ginger. Toasted Pistachios. Coriander yoghurt dressing.

 

 Sweet potato cakes with Basil aioli and a spiced Peach chutney

 

ODells seafood chowder. Creamy with plenty of fresh fish.

 

Crispy Duck salad with mandarins, roast Cashew nuts, oriental greens. Honey, Orange and ginger dressing.

 

Sautéed Prawns with courgette, Garlic, chillies, coriander & lemon. (€2 supplement)

 

Pan fried Lambs Kidneys, with Mushrooms, rosemary, Garlic, sherry and Cream. (€2 supplement)

 

Louisiana Fish Cakes with Salmon, Cod & Smoked Haddock. Cucumber Relish. Lemon & Chive Mayonnaise. (€2.50 supplement)

Mains

 

Pork fillet medallions with Spinach & mozzarella filling. Crispy herb crumbs. Port and pink peppercorn sauce.

 

Hake baked with a Dijon & lemon zest crust. Creamy dill sauce.

 

Roast Chicken. Smoked bacon stuffing. Camembert sauce. Garlic confit.

 

Salmon fillet roasted with a Peanut and sesame pesto. Orange, ginger and chilli.

 

Spinach, potato and butter bean Koftas. Apple and Mango Chutney. Coriander pesto.

 

Roast Duck Breast With honey, thyme, garlic, pears and crispy Pancetta. (€2 supplement)

 

Roast Guinea Fowl with a Walnut & Apricot stuffing. Blackberry red wine sauce. (€2 supplement)

 

Fillet of Irish Beef. Char grilled with a balsamic Onion Marmalade. Creamy Sherry & Green Peppercorn Sauce. (€6.95 supplement)
